CANCELLED – Chi Rho/CYF at Derthick’s Corn Maze

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful Fall weather.  What a great first event we had at Camp Hi!  We had 17 youth and all the adults that joined us for the event.  We also were able to get on the river for just $5/piece due to the generosity of a congregation member of our churches! What a blessing.  

Our next event ALSO includes extraordinary generosity from our church community.  The Derthick family is allowing us full access to the corn maze….by ourselves!  At no charge!  This is a great gift and will be a wonderful time.  Be sure to thank the Derthicks when you see them! 🙂  One way we do thank them is by helping clean up a bit after the regular hours and anything else they might need.  

Event: Derthick’s Corn Maze on Sunday, Oct 24th at 6-8pm. (5182 Twinsburg Warren Rd, Mantua, OH 44255).  Enter the 82 entrance and follow the line in.  Just tell any staff that you are with the youth group coming in that night.  
Who Can Come?: This event is for the Chi-Rho and CYF Youth (5-12th graders). If you are a parent and want to stick around that is ok. Please feel free to bring a friend! 
Time: 6:00-8:00pm.  Please meet at the entrance and check in with the leaders! We will help with any corn maze cleanup, play games, and venture into the corn maze after getting some instructions.  
Cost: No cost!  Just be sure to offer big THANKS to the Derthicks! 🙂 
Snacks/Drinks:  You are welcome to bring a snack/drink to share just have them all individually wrapped!  We are still taking covid precautions
What to wear: Please dress appropriately for the weather AND be sure to wear shoes/boots you don’t mind getting muddy/wet to go through the maze.  Hopefully the weather is good, but you never know!
