Day of Kindness – 7/14/24

The Mantua Center Christian Church Day of Kindness is an annual event that allows our congregational members and their friends to participate in service projects in and around Mantua. Our inspiration was the Day of Kindness event that was held in 2022 which had many projects both onsite at the church as well as in the community. We’re considering it again for July 2024!

Our current theme is “Time, Talents and Treasures” or a fun, one-day event: 

• Volunteers commit to at least one three-hour time period (either a morning OR an afternoon slot)
• Volunteers commit their talents to helping others through arranged projects (either onsite at MCCC or in the community)
• Everyone enjoys the treasure of a meal (a community potluck lunch between service sessions, with the main course provided)
