Prayer Vigil – 9/8/24 6:00pm

In this season of political division and chaos, we invite you to join us in praying for our community and country every Sunday evening starting Sept 8th until Nov 10th.

A few weeks ago, I preached on Ephesians 4:3, ” “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” and invited all of us to take that call seriously. As members of the Disciples of Christ we have a rich history in our tradition of promoting unity amongst Christians. Barton Stone said, “Unity is our polar star.”  I will open up the sanctuary space from 6-7pm for silent prayer. Please join me if you feel a tug on your heart to pray for peace and unity in this weary world. Bring a friend and share the word with the community.
