Worship & Fellowship – Extending absence

Currently we are under a 10-day order from the state of Ohio to stay at home and we will continue to face restrictions so as not to spread the virus.  Given this reality and the desire to “love our neighbors” we will continue to worship at safe distance.  We are extending our time away from the church building until after Easter.  We want to continue to follow the guidelines from the health experts and we’ll keep you updated as things change.  In the meantime we hope to continue enjoying worship via YouTube and connecting on our Zoom calls.  Please take advantage of those opportunities! Phone Tree

Currently, our Elders and MCCC Care Team are seeking to divide up our local church directory to create a call list.  Do not be surprised to receive a call from someone at MCCC in the next week or so to check-in. We are seeking to learn more about needs and prayer requests and to pass on any relevant info you might have need of. 

We are also hoping that you might consider sending cards or making random calls of kindness to church family.  If you have need of a phone number/email/snail mail address please contact our church secretary, Sandi Kossick, or reach out to me.  We would love to help you get connected.  

Giving at MCCC

In this season of being away from the church building we want to offer a gentle reminder to remember the church in your giving.  THAT BEING SAID… If you are hurting financially, please let us know so we can try to help you.  We don’t want you to feel pressure to give if you are struggling to make ends meet or there are have been job/financial changes thrust upon you.   We want to help! 

If you’re not struggling, please keep the church in mind. Offerings will help us keep our staff paid and our building sound. It has been a blessing that some have chosen to give ahead by making their yearly offering in one chunk.  Thank you for your generosity as always! There are many ways to give, including: – Online pay through your bank (like bill pay), – Make one-time gifts or become sustaining giver on the Website (direct link: https://www.aplos.com/aws/give/MantuaCenterChristianChurch)

New Website

If you haven’t already done so, please go to https://mantuacentercc.org/ and check out our newly designed website!  Carol Magyarics is our website guru and has done an amazing job!   On the website you’ll be able to get access to our worship services, sermon podcast, and get all sorts of information.  We are in the process of populating the site with ministry info.  If you are a ministry leader of the church please send a description of your ministry to Carol ([email protected]).   Thank you Carol! 

Please know that everyday I am lifting you all in prayer and trusting that we are still connected by the power of the Holy Spirit.  In this season of change, uncertainty, and fear I am leaning on scriptures like this: 

“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend; you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, ‘You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off ’; do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”

Isaiah 41:8-10
