- Kids Weekend Meals will be bagging food on Wednesday and delivering on Thursday,
- our Book Study is Wednesday from 7-8pm,
- Sunday we have an Elder’s meeting at 8:30,
- Board Meeting at 12pm, and
- a Youth Group event at the Auble’s at 3pm.
- This is also the last Sunday for donations to Week of Compassion, so don’t forget your coin boxes!
Also, just a reminder that your order forms and payment for Easter Flowers must be in by NEXT Sunday, March 27th. Also, I believe we will be having the kids collect all our food items for the 4C’s on March 27th! (Please don’t quote me on that! lol!) So, don’t forget to pick up any items you can for the collection. (Items needed this month are: Jello, Canned Fruit and Coffee – Regular or Instant is fine).
I would like to let you know that I was happy to attend the new Free Clothing Giveaway this past Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church in Mantua. What a great set-up they had and I was thrilled to see it up and running again! Of course, you know that Nancy Tafel started this mission and ran it for many years until the onset of Covid. Joe Dacsko and Lynn Kelly, along with the “expert help” of Nancy Tafel have restarted this great mission! It is on the 2nd floor in what used to be a school room. It is perfect for all their racks of clothes and even though I got there about 40 minutes before closing, they still had a wide selection for kids, ladies, teens, and mens alike. If you missed it on Saturday, the next giveaway will be June 4th from 9-12, so please mark your calendars and bring your friends. Lynn is also available to open the doors for emergency situations. Please PASS THE WORD!
I’m wishing you all a beautiful week “Full to the Brim” with God’s grace. Remember to extend kindness to all who cross your path this week, and please continue praying for peace and the people of Ukraine.
Blessings to all,
Sandi
