Now, a personal note: What a beautiful sight it was to see so many people in-person at church this past Sunday! I think one of the things that touched everyone’s hearts was the return of so many children! How I have missed feeling their spirit! Pastor Chad did a fantastic job with the Children’s Moment during worship and the kid’s remarks and enthusiasm did not let us down! What a brightness they provided on Sunday just by their presence. And . . . God Bless Christin Delaney for wrangling them all together for Sunday School class following the Children’s Moment. I think it would be agreed by all that the kids truly bring God’s light into the church! Thanks also to the Smile Team for kicking off our first official coffee hour of 2022. They provided many delicious pastries and juices for all to share! Also thanks to Laura Parker for heading up our “hospitality” by providing coffee for all, as well as handling all the clean-up afterward! (Did you know she does this by herself?) Laura also blessed us with our communion bread on Sunday! I had to stop, take a deep breath, and simply take in the moment at times. I felt like the hand of God was blessing us Sunday as we socialized, some enjoyed Sunday Class, and just simply enjoyed each other’s company! Thanks be to God for all he has provided!
Blessings to you all,
Sandi
