A Message from Pastor Chad – Getting Centered
Greetings on a beautiful Thursday afternoon! I hope your gardens of flowers and vegetables are coming to life with all this wonderful rain and sunshine. Every day I’m thankful for the gift of creation that we get to so beautifully see and experience here in northeast Ohio!
GETTING CENTERED
This week I wanted to extend another invitation to the Get Centered sessions that I have offered to the congregation. It has been awhile since I’ve reminded you of them!
Below is a document called “Getting Centered Spiritually.” In it you will see a “wheel” with different categories around it that you get to reflect on and rank yourself on. I have used this wheel with coaching within the congregation and community and it has been received very well. Just checking out the wheel and taking a little time in prayer and reflection can hopefully benefit you in your spiritual journey. I offer sessions for you to meet with to talk more about it and to make some goals (as you feel led). I would LOVE to meet with you and be a resource to you. If you have any interest or questions, please let me know.
SCHEDULER LINK
Also, just so you are aware, I have a new Calendly scheduler for setting up a meeting with me. You can click on the link and schedule a 1 hour session with me to check-in, talk, or visit. We can meet by phone, video, or in-person. Please feel free to check the schedule and sign-up for a time if you would like to get together. Calendly Link: https://calendly.com/pastormccc/meeting
This week in worship we will look at a wonderful passage of scripture in Exodus 19. These passages are the preamble to God’s people receiving the 10 Commandments. There is so much to learn and reflect on here! Also this Sunday we will be saying farewell to two DEAR MEMBERS of MCCC — Jessy and Doug Rice — who are moving to North Carolina. Please share with them your prayers and well-wishes.
Looking forward to being with you in worship this Sunday!
Peace in Christ,
Chad
