MCCC Weekly Update – February 26, 2023
Below are a few events that are coming up this coming week:
- The deadline for signing up for our “Dinner for 8” event has been EXTENDED TO THIS SUNDAY, FEB. 26TH! This Lenten event will be held on Saturday, March 4th. Please be sure to sign up either as a participant or a host by Sunday. I have attached the flyer for further details! What a great time of the year to reconnect with those in our congregation and enjoy each other’s company over dinner! Grab a partner and sign up for you both!
- THIS SUNDAY, Feb. 26th, we will have our monthly food collection for the 4C’s. Items needed for February are: Dish Soap, Shampoo & Cookies. Monetary donations are also welcome. Thanks so much for your continued support!
- Story Time has returned to every Tuesday from 10:30-11:30am! Please pass the word! This is a FREE event for all preschoolers and a great time to share in an activity with your “little ones”!
- Daytime Fellowship is Wednesday from 1:30-2:45pm, and Life Study will be held from 7-8:30pm. Hope you can join us!
On a side note:
As we enter into our 1st Sunday of Lent, we will have Lenten Devotionals available in the Narthex for your taking! (Please one per family!) If we run out before you get one, please let me know ([email protected]) so I can make one for you! I also want to remind you that Week of Compassion has been extended at MCCC and our new deadline is March 19. Feel free to engage the whole family and fill up your coin boxes! This is truly a wonderful mission of the Christian Church and it will help people not just in the United States, but literally all over the world. You may also write a check made out to Mantua Center Christian Church, with WOC in the memo line, and put it in the offering plate or mail it to MCCC, P.O. Box 550, Mantua, Oh 44255. You may also go to our website (mantuacentercc.org) and give online. Any amount you can give, when combined with others, will surely help those in need. Thanks in advance for your support!
