MCCC Annual Canoe/Kayak Outing 8/4/24 12pm

Join us on August 4th 12pm at Camp Hi at for our “Somewhat Annual” MCCC Canoe/Kayak Outing!
Attention MCCC Thrill-Seekers!
This year’s MCCC canoe/kayak trip will meet at the pavilion at 12 noon for pizza & pop BEFORE the launch AT CAMP HI at 1:00pm.
This part of the river gives options for both a short trip and a bit longer trip allowing all to join in the fun!
EVERYONE MUST SIGN THE WAIVER. Registering online will speed up check-in. Carol or Steve will also collect payment at the lunch.
Please bring check/cash or Venmo to @Carol-Magyarics. If you would like to attend but need financial assistance, please speak with Pastor Chad.

From Camp Hi – Below are some details about your activity:
YOUR RESERVATION DETAILS:
- Activity Date: Sunday, August 4, 2024
- Pizza Lunch: 12:00pm in the pavilion
Start Time: 1:00pm || Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your schedule departure time.
WAIVER:
You are required to fill out a Waiver/Liability Agreement before your arrival. Please do so by accessing the waiver through the underneath link..Camp Hi Rental Agreement and Waiver
OUR LOCATION:
Your meeting location is at 12274 Abbott Rd, Hiram, OH 44234, just 45 minutes from Cleveland, Akron or Youngstown. Once ready to depart, our staff will provide directions to your launch location and explain landmarks so that you will recognize your take-out. While on the river, stay with your group until you get to the take-out. Groups must have a lead boat and a tail boat so all finish together.
Please respect the rights of river-front property owners. Maintained shoreline is private property.
TO BRING:
On any trip on the river, it’s a good idea to bring some items with you to make your experience a great one. Here is brief list of items you should bring, along with your attitude of having a fun outdoor adventure…
Bring drinks and snacks, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, extra clothes and rain wear when the weather is cold or rainy. Camp Hi will supply a paddle, life jacket, and your boat of choice to paddle.
