To all Elder’s, don’t forget that we will be having our Elder Retreat from 9-11 this Saturday, May 17th in the Fellowship Hall!  

We will have lots of information and handouts so please plan to attend this informative event!

This Sunday is our MCCC Board Meeting from 1-2pm in the Fellowship Hall.  If you have anything for the agenda, please contact Rick Painley asap so it can be added (330) 606-6314.  All are welcome to attend!

Also, all Chi-Rho members are invited to attend a gathering at 3:00pm this Sunday at Rev. Chris McCreights home.  Hope you can make it to this grand finale! It sounds like it will be fun!

Additionally, I want to remind you to SAVE THE DATE for our next 5th Sunday Potluck on June 29th,followed by our 2nd Day of Kindness!  I hope you will be able to attend both events.

• Sunday 5/18 – Worship Service Honoring our Trustees, and Stephen & Kweethai (Neill) Stork joining the church!  /  Board Meeting 12-1pm with light lunch – All are welcome to attend!  /  Chi-Rho meets at the home of Chris McCreight at 3pm 
• Monday 5/19 – Hilltop Knitters meet from 1:30-3pm  /  Handbell Practice 6-7pm
• Tuesday 5/20 – Story Time for preschoolers from 10:30-11:30am
• Wednesday 5/21 – Kids Weekend Meals Packing Bags 12pm  /  “Dwelling in the Word” with Pastor Chad from 1:15-2:30pm  /  “Life Study” with Jon Secaur from 6:30-8pm
• Thursday 5/22 – Kids Weekend Meals Delivering Bags 
• Friday 5/23 –  N/A
• Saturday 5/24 – N/A
•  Sunday 5/25 – Worship Service and “4th for the 4C’s”!  Items needed for May are: Canned Potatoes, Jello, Canned Fruit, & especially Cereal.  Also being collected for the Free Clothing & Diaper Giveaway are: Diapers (especially sizes 2, 4, 5, & 7), Baby wipes, Large Black Trash Bags (30-33gal.), and regular sized Trash Bags (15 gal.). You may also drop off these items in the outside bin at the lower level entrance.  And remember . . . NO donation is too small when combined with others! 

 Don’t forget that ALL of our announcements as well as a few community events are listed on the last 2 pages of the attached Bulletin. Be sure to check it out so you don’t miss any fun events going on!

At this Sunday’s worship service, Pastor Chad will be joined by me (Sandi Kossick) as Worship Leader.  Nora Brant and Cheryl Delaney will lead us through Communion, Steve Stork will provide a special music selection, and Janice Green will graciously fill in again this week while Sarah Park is away.  We will spend some time honoring the Trustees who have given up so much of their personal time and energy to keep “the ball rolling” on the renovations.  We will also welcome Kweethai Neill and Stephen Stork as they officially join the church! What a blessing for both of these events!  You won’t want to miss it!  We will have some light refreshments following worship, (provided by the Worship Team) so please stay and join us!

On a side note . . . 

As you go through this coming week, remember to always welcome others with joy and with grace.  Extend a helping hand or lend a listening ear to someone in need.  It is true that When you give of yourself, you receive so much more in return.
