MCCC – Message from Pastor Chad – Thanksgiving Plunge Help and Worship
Thanksgiving Plunge – please donate to our MCCC team!
As the weather gets chillier, Christin and I keep thinking about how much colder the water is going to get for our Thanksgiving Plunge!
It is coming VERY soon and we need your help. Right now we have a little crew together (I will share the final list soon) of those willing to jump into a very cold lake to help raise money for Kids Weekend Meals. Every year we feed 150+ kids over the weekend and it takes a lot of resources to keep this ministry going. There are SO MANY amazing people that help with the program from our church family and community….it is truly a ministry made possible by the whole community!
If you don’t want to jump in the lake…perhaps you will donate to the cause? We would love to see how much money our little team can raise in this last week before the plunge.
To donate, please go to the Mantua Center Christian Church “Give Online” page and designate your gift for the Thanksgiving Plunge. There is a “Purpose” drop down menu. Either select “Thanksgiving Plunge” (if it’s there) or select “Kids Weekend Meals” and in the “Note” section put “Thanksgiving Plunge.”

All of this money goes to Kids Weekend Meals and it will make our stout-hearted group feel much better about jumping in that frigid water! THANK YOU!
Stewardship Worship – Hopeful
This Sunday is our second stewardship Sunday as we consider how we give of our time, talent, and treasure for our ministry in the world in the name of Jesus Christ. This week we will explore a wonderful passage in Exodus that shares an inspirational story about God’s people in the wilderness. Hopefully you received a letter in the mail and if led, to bring your pledge to worship on Nov 26th to put in the offering plate. We are blessed with your presence and are so thankful for all the ways you give to the Mantua Center Christian Church.
Looking forward to being with you in worship on Sunday!
Peace,
Chad
