May 23rd – MCCC Pentecost Worship and Back to the Building News
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday and we will celebrate the Gift of the Holy Spirit as a church. Our worship will be outdoors at the building and online on YouTube Live. It is wonderful to have so many in worship and I look forward to seeing you Sunday. If you are so inclined, wear RED as that is the liturgical color for Pentecost!
Also, hopefully you’ve heard this already, but we are excited to say that we are planning on being back “in the house” on July 4th, 2021. With a number of restrictions being lifted and effectiveness of the vaccinations we are moving up our timeline! We were thinking it would be fall, but are so happy it can be this summer. Of course, we will keep an eye on the county numbers and will make any adjustments as needed. We will be taking this next month to prepare the church building, get the sanctuary ready for continued online streaming, and do our best to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible as we make this transition. Whether inside, outside, or online we are the church together, but this will be an exciting day. Please keep us in your prayers and mark your calendars!
