Updates for May 16 Outdoor Worship at 9:30am & Board Meeting
Lord willing and the rain/snow stay away, we’ll be together again this Sunday at the MCCC church building at 9:30am! Let’s gather together for worship outdoors and online as we look at a wonderful passage in Galatians and think about the oneness of the church. As many of you saw, we had the WONDERFUL news this week from Gov DeWine and the CDC regarding updates on mask mandates and social distancing. At this point we would still ask that you observe masking/distancing this Sunday as everyone gets adjusted to opening up and helping everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We still have a mixed crowd of both vaccinated and unvaccinated people and we need to be mindful of that. We absolutely will be talking about our restrictions in the weeks ahead AND we have already begun discerning with the Gathering Team what this new news might mean for our church going forward. We are communicating about it and making plans. It is all very exciting and yet I hope that you will continue to extend patience and understanding as we figure out how best to move ahead.
This Sunday is also our regularly scheduled Board Meeting at 12:00p over Zoom video conferencing. Please know that EVERYONE is always welcome to join us to hear what is going on in the church and to offer any thoughts/ideas. If you would like to attend, please let us know if you need the Zoom sign-in.
