Week of Compassion
This weekend we will be blessed as a congregation to explore a wonderful passage of scripture in Luke 4– some call it Jesus’ Inaugural Address! It is the perfect passage to begin our Week of Compassion together as a congregation and to hear the word from our Board Chair, Jon Secaur. Feb 20 & 27 we are celebrating the Week of Compassion of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and inviting you to consider a gift of generosity to them at www.weekofcompassion.org or through the church with coin boxes. MCCC has a long history of giving to the WoC and we are part of their Circle of Compassion. We’ll invite everyone to bring back their coinboxes over the course of the month and place them on the Communion Table as an offering. Thank you for supporting this amazing fund that helps with disaster relief and refugees all over the world.
SURVEY
Here we are in 2022 and still adjusting to the changing dynamics in the world and the church. In many ways people have been inclined to wait for things to “return to normal” and also to live boldly into this new reality we find ourselves in. The pandemic has presented many challenges to our life together as a church, while also presenting many opportunities. We are asking everyone to please fill out this survey as honestly and completely as possible so that we might have some valuable feedback as we move forward!

There are four sections with questions: Worship, Service, Christian Education, and General Feedback. We’d love to have your feedback and input in these areas.
THIS SURVEY IS ANONYMOUS, however, you are welcome to put your name/contact in if you want follow-up. Thank you!
Please keep our family in your prayers this weekend as we travel to CJ’s college of choice for a scholarship competition. We are excited for this opportunity and look forward to worshiping with everyone online!
God’s grace and peace be with you!
Peace,
Pastor Chad
