MCCC Weekly Events – 2/14/22
Happy Valentine’s Day to all my MCCC Family!
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day in whatever fashion you chose to celebrate! Remember, expressing your love to someone you care about is a practice that shouldn’t wait for just one day a year! Sometimes the most meaningful surprises are when there is NO holiday at all! Be sure to always give freely of your genuine compliments, love, gratitude, and appreciation to ALL those who have touched your lives in some way, and especially to those that still do! Happy Valentine’s Day, EVERYDAY!
Below is the Weekly Calendar of Events for MCCC and Community. Please note that this coming Sunday, Feb. 20th, we will have our MCCC Board Meeting via Zoom from 12-1pm. The link and agenda will be sent out later this week and all are welcome to attend. Also, MARSI (Mantua Area Restoration Society, Inc.) is having a take-out or eat-in lunchfrom 11-1 at the old Mantua Center School. And . . our Loaves & Fishes Dinner is on Thursday, Feb. 24th from 5-6:30 in the Fellowship Hall at MCCC. More details are included in the calendar so please check it out.
Please also be thinking about Week of Compassion (Feb. 20th & 27th) and how you might support this Disciples of Christ mission to help others in need. More information will be available in your bulletin in the next 2 weeks and Week of Compassion envelopes will be available in the pews to place in the offering basket by the entrance. (Coin boxes will also be available for those who would like one). If you would like more information, or would like to donate online, please check out their website at: weekofcompassion.org.
