Kids Weekend Meals – Adopt a Kid!
Currently, we are feeding 145 kids in 60 families within the Crestwood School District. We are providing breakfast, lunch and snacks on the weekends throughout the entire year. These numbers will probably rise in the new school year by 50-60 kids. This is a traditional rise and can be expected.
Now, let’s talk funds: So far this year, we have spent $12,056.30 in 7 months. That means it costs KWM $1,722 each month. Therefore, it costs $11.88 per kid, per month (round to $12).
NOW THE ADOPTION FEES:
One child for 3 months: $36
One child for 6 months: $72
One child for 1 year: $144Any gift is gratefully accepted!
When KWM started in 2015, we felt then, as we do now, that this ministry should be one of community. Please consider becoming part of our “village” feeding kids who are hungry and who will perform best, behaviorally as well as academically when tummies are full and comfortable!
