A Message from Pastor Chad – Nov. 11, 2022
On November 6th, we gathered after worship for our Re-Centering Event. I want to thank everyone for their outstanding interest and excitement around the topics. I have heard from a number of folks excited about what took place and eager to see how we might proceed. The four priorities–Welcome, Connection, Communication, and Care–were discussed rigorously and lots of suggestions were made about action steps. Please continue to be in prayer as we gather all the information and come back to the congregation with the results.
If you didn’t have a chance to participate or you would like to add more to the congregation, please go to this Google Form link to share your thoughts: https://forms.gle/oF7vK4c8qKhs5Z9h9
Coaching, Visiting, and Conversation
I have been so blessed over the last several months to have a chance to meet with many congregation members. Whether for visiting, praying, conversation, or coaching I’m grateful for all the people reaching to connect. Know that I am always open to making time for a visit or conversation if desired. Please reach out to me directly or go ahead and make an appointment using my calendly online scheduler. We can meet online, at the church building, on the trail, or at the coffee shop. I really enjoy getting to know folks better and am glad when people reach out in this way. Here’s the online scheduler link: https://calendly.com/revchaddelaneypcc/meeting
Worship
This Sunday, we will look at an interesting story in the book of Judges about Deborah. Many have heard of her but may not know the story and what we can learn from it. I’m eager to share with you some thoughts and would love to hear yours as always.
On this rainy day, I’m thankful for all the grace and goodness God gives us. Jesus said that God “sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous alike.” The rain is like God’s love and grace…given to us whether we “deserve” it or not! That is a blessing.
God bless you and look forward to being with you in worship on Sunday!
Peace in Christ,
Chad
