Below is the Weekly Calendar of Events for 12/12/22 – 12/18/22.  As the month of December is quickly slipping by, I was able to delete a few events  . . . . but then added a couple of items so please take a look at it when you have some time!

If you haven’t heard yet, the Saturday Free Clothing Giveaway at St. Joseph Church was a huge success!  They had 97 shoppers who left with many bags of goodies in all different sizes.  This mission has really become something to look forward to for so many in our community and beyond!  The leaders, Lynn Kelley and Nancy Tafel are requesting donations if you are able to help:

• Large black trash bags for the shoppers
• Any Kids clothing for sizes 4-7
• New packages of diapers

If you haven’t purchased tickets for Nora Brants’ Christmas Quilt Raffle . . . stop in Mantua’s Crooked River Florist and get them soon!  The drawing for this BEAUTIFUL queen size quilt is December 23rd! Proceeds will benefit Kids Weekend Meals!

Also a reminder that this Sunday, Dec. 18th is our Christmas Pageant during worship!  Following worship the “Delaneys’ Merry Christmas Cookies” is returning and I know these treats will be delicious!  I hope you will be able to stay after worship and join in fellowship with others!  Chi-Rho and CYF youth groups will be meeting at Hiram Christian Church on Sunday from 3-6pm.  They will be having their “White Elephant Gift Exchange and Christmas Party!”  I hope all the youth of our church will be able to gather together with our sister church for some fun filled times!

A new item added to our calendar and will be seen throughout the church is our own QR Code!  You will be able to scan that code with your phone and it will take you directly to our MCCC Website!  Check it out in the calendar!  With the start of a new year, this is a great time to get in the habit of checking out our website for the current news going on in our church!  Thank you Carol Magaryics for the new QR Code and for all you do with the technology of the church!  You are a blessing!!
