MCCC Updates & Building Project – March 24, 2024
Good Evening MCCC,
First, I would like to mention that the Brant family has graciously opened up an outdoor space for meditation/prayer throughout this season of Lent. Everyone is welcome to stop by to take advantage of this quiet space. Nora Brant’s address is 4296 Wayne Road, Mantua, Oh. All are welcome! What a blessing this is!
Second, below are two documents from Jon Secaur that explain some building project updates. This information is being provided by the “Third Century Building Team.” We will have copies in the worship pews for tomorrow’s “Palm’s to the Garden” service and hope these documents will keep those who cannot be with us in person also informed. Please take a moment to read through it and stay “in the know!”
HOLY Week Schedule (3/25/24-3/31/24)
Sunday, 3/24
- 4th for the 4C’s!” Items needed for March are Cereal, Spaghetti Sauce & Canned Sloppy Joe Mix. Monetary donations are also welcome! Don’t forget your donations!
- Choir Practice is tomorrow morning at Sunday, 8:30am and we ask that all choir members please attend.
- CYF will be meeting tomorrow Sunday from 6-7:30pm at MCCC. Please be sure to sign up ASAP if you are planning to attend the Mission Trip as space is filling up fast!
Monday, 3/25 – 6:00pm Handbell Practice
Tuesday, 3/26
- Every Tuesday is Story Time from 10:30-11:30am for any preschoolers! Bring your little ones for an hour of fun!
Wednesday 3/27
- 1:15-2:30 is our “Dwelling in the Word” (scripture study) with Pastor Chad.
- Please note that our evening Life Study will NOT be held this week.
Thursday, 3/28
- Loaves & Fishes Community Dinner from 5-6:30pm! Need a break from cooking? Come join us & bring your friends! The menu is: Pierogi Noodle Casserole, Jello Salad, Rolls & Butter, and the BEST assorted desserts! Maybe come early for dinner . . . then drive up the road to Hiram Christian Church for the Maundy Thursday Service!
- Maundy Thursday service will be at Hiram Christian Church at 7pm. All are welcome to attend our “sister” church for this wonderful service!
Friday. 3/29: Possible prayer event for Good Friday. Keep an eye out for an email this week!
Sunday 3/31
- Sunrise Service at 6:45am, at Derthick’s Hill. (Bring a chair, or stand for this short service)
- CYF Easter Pancake Breakfast at MCCC. We are serving from 8:15-9:15am in the Fellowship Hall. All monetary donations will benefit the CYF Mission Trip in June.
- MCCC Easter Worship Service at MCCC at 9:30am
