A New Year Message from Pastor Chad
Happy New Year! I’m back from a wonderful stay-cation and wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your prayers while I was away. I also wanted to thank all the Worship Team and everyone who helped make worship possible over the holidays with preaching, worship leading, music, and everything else that comes with it! My time with family was truly restful and restorative, and I return to you with a renewed spirit and excitement for all that God has in store for us in this new season.
As we step into 2025, I’m reminded of Isaiah 43:19, where God declares, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” What an incredible promise to carry with us into this year—a reminder that no matter what challenges or uncertainties we may face, God is always at work, bringing renewal, hope, and purpose to our lives.
This Sunday, we’ll explore the theme “A New Adventure”—a call to step with courage into the journey God is calling each of us to take. I hope you’ll join us for worship as we explore and reflect on how we can embrace faith as a grand adventure.
There is much happening with our church building and within the life of our church. This year we’ll have stories to share and make new stories. May this be a year where we see God at work in new ways, trust God more deeply, and step forward with courage and joy.
I’m looking forward to being with you this Sunday. Hope to see you there!
With love and gratitude,
Pastor Chad
