MCCC Worship for May 10th and Zoom Fellowship
Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I hope that everyone is having a great weekend despite the cold weather. I, for one, am VERY eager for spring to come!
A very Happy Mother’s Day to all our moms and spiritual mom’s in the congregation. Mother’s Day is a great day to remember all the women who have made an impact on our lives both biologically and spiritually!
Our scripture this week is 1 Corinthians 1:10-18 and will offer us insight into what connects us as God’s people. We live in an unprecedented and difficult time. There will be so many voices pressing us in different directions…what will unite us together? How will we know which direction to go? Paul’s letters were written 2000 years ago, yet still give wonderful insight for us today.
In worship, we have the great privilege of hearing Special Music from… Pat Strainer! We will also have some art work from Philip Anderson (Brian & Dottie Summerlin’s grandson) so be sure to get a look at his interpretation of “unity.” Feel free to pause at that part and check it out.
As always… the best place to get all the latest is on our website (www.mantuacentercc.org). There you can get service info, podcast, and give online. Thank you so much for your continued participation and support…it means the world to us knowing that we are still holding together as a community! God is good!
