MCCC Church Family,

Each week we are blessed to still be able to get together for worship even in this COVID season.  Every week the news seems to be getting worse, but I believe we are all trying to find ways to meaningfully live into this time.  Remember to ask for help when you need it.  Get the rest and prayer time that you need.  When your cup feels full, take that as a signal to reach out to others who might not feel the same.  Either way, we continue to need each other for conversation, prayer, and connections whether in-person or virtual.  Let’s make the most of this season to grow and learn what it means to be disciples of Christ in this time and place! 

Delaney Vacation

Speaking of rest, my family and I will be on vacation from July 20-August 10th.  If a church concern emerges please contact an Elder or start with the chair, Doug Rice (douglasericeii@gmail.com).  If a pastor is needed, contact Sarah Smith (sms.smith.2016@gmail.com).  If there is a shepherding/care concern please contact the head of the Care Team, Nora Brant (StNoraRN@roadrunner.com).  I would appreciate your prayers as we take this time together as a family.  

MCCC Walking Small Group

Pete Pruszynski is calling for folks interested in a MCCC Walking/Hiking Small Group!  He would like to hear from you if you would have interest in gathering to take weekly walks on the Headwaters Trail or around the Crestwood High School Track.  Consistent with MCCC guidelines, the group would be under 10 people, observe physical distancing, and all folks would be masked for the duration of the time.  The hope is to share a brief time of prayer and then set off for the walk.  Please contact Pete at 330-607-4102 or dpruszynski@aol.com to express your interest and/or ask questions.
