Church Family,

It was a bit chillier last Sunday, but we still had a great group come out to the farm for worship.  Many thanks to the wonderful wisdom and insight from Sarah Smith as she reflected on a passage in 1 Samuel.  If you haven’t had a chance to watch the YouTube video yet, I suggest you do so! 

This Sunday we will come together again at Derthick’s Farm for a Drive-In worship.  I’ll send more information later in the week.  

MCCC WORSHIP at the Church Parking Lot…starting Nov 15?

The Worship Team and the Stream Team (Jon Secaur and Carol Magyarics) have found a way to worship together at the church building parking lot through the winter months!  We are still getting the plan together, but we should be able to gather in the church parking lot for worship by Sunday, Nov 15th.  A fm transmitter has been donated so that folks can come, turn their radio dial to a station, and hear worship being led clearly.  Who would have thought?!  Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and prayers as we try to figure this out!  I will keep you posted as plans solidify.  

Mission Activities and Opportunities

Just a heads-up that there have been some folks behind the scenes looking to activate that community outreach impulse of our congregation.  Keep on the lookout for opportunities to celebrate members of our congregation and to support some local mission efforts.  Thank you for all the ways that you are already reaching out to each other and to the community during this crazy time! 

STEWARDSHIP

Hopefully you have received your MCCC pledge cards in the mail and have been prayerfully considering how you would like to support the church financially for the 2021 ministry year.  Your gifts make a big difference as we try to be Christ’s hands and feet in our little part of God’s world.  If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to contact the head of the Stewardship & Finance Team–Dave Auble– or our Treasurer–Liz Meeker.  Thank you for your commitment to the ministry of our church!
