Church Family,

Over the last week or so I’ve really enjoyed the green speckles starting to emerge from the cold, hard ground.  Every year it’s truly amazing to see the trees start to bud and the flowers to peek out from their winter hibernation. In our hosta and flower bed out front we have river rock everywhere and this year I’ve really enjoyed watching the flowers push through them (see picture attached).  It reminds me of the many obstacles and difficulties that we have had to face over the last year, but also finding within ourselves the resilience, persistence, and hope to keep moving forward.  It has nearly been one year since that day our leaders gathered to cancel in-person worship. It has certainly been difficult, but I’m in awe of the congregation’s perseverance through all the changes, disappointments, and adjustments.  My hope, too, is that you have found meaning and joy growing your relationship with God in such a time as this.
