November Calendar of Events
I wanted to get this November Calendar out to you as soon as I could (albeit late!) as there are a couple of events going on in Mantua tomorrow, that I have just become aware of. (Look at the last page!) We have many activities going on in the community and we also have some new events coming up throughout the church. I encourage you to read it over so you don’t miss anything!
I especially want to remind you that the KWM “Adopt a Kid” fundraiser is still underway, and we can use all the financial gifts we can get. The deadline for “Adoption!” is Wednesday, November 15th. In page 5 of the calendar, I have outlined the basic information as well as how the payment could be made. (It costs about $12/month to feed a child breakfast, lunch, and snacks on the weekend. 3 months is $37, 6 months is $73, and 12 months is $145.) Please check out page 5 and give as you feel led. After Nov. 15th KWM will be having their 3rd Annual “Thanksgiving Plunge” and this year it will be in memory of Pastor Len Malotte. Maybe grab a few friends and take the “Plunge” together! Or simply jump by yourself in memory of Pastor Len and how he affected your life. I am also attaching the Sponsor sheet for this event, so let’s get out there and find some people to jump! Again, the basics are outlined on page 5 of the Calendar. Pete Pruszynski is organizing the Thanksgiving Plunge again this year.
