Beloved family of God,

We are excited to share in worship with HCC again live on Zoom Sunday at 10:00 am. We will hear a message about privilege and satisfaction from me, Pastor Sarah, as well as music from our many talented musicians. If you’ve got kiddos joining us, Rev. Chris will offer the children’s message, and I know he would love to hear from you. Our communion meditation and prayer comes from MaryEllen Hamlin this week.

You’ll notice that Rev. Chad’s name is still missing from all that; keep in mind that he is on vacation for the next week! Keep the Delaney’s in your prayers as they take a breather this summer, and remember if you need support, you can reach out to many other leaders of the church and we would be happy to be with you at this time. 

In the Wednesday Prayer Time survey I sent out last week, folks seemed interested in having a weekly “Prayer Bulletin” that would remind folks who was on the prayer chain. This document will only go out to the MCCC prayer chain in order to respect people’s privacy and hold their individual prayers in community. This week is the first “publication” of this document in house. Featuring artwork from Laura Parker, a summary of the names on our prayer chain for the month of July, tips for a new prayer practice, and prompts for prayer, I am excited to share the first iteration of this ministry with you!
