Church Family,

We had our biggest car congregation yet at Derthick’s Farm last weekend.  Thanks to everyone who came out.  Please see the attached picture of the great work done by Sandi Kossick, her friend Rory, and Katie Baird.  We also live streamed the service on Facebook Live… if you want to see the farm service just go to the MCCC Facebook page.  You don’t want to miss the wonderful rendition of “I’ll Fly Away” from Ellie and Beth Schabel after the Benediction! 

This Sunday we will again come together at Derthick’s Farm for a Drive-In worship.  I’ll send more information later in the week.  

MCCC WORSHIP in Winter?

This Sunday we will again come together for Drive-In worship but we know that the weather will not hold out forever.  The Worship Team and the Stream Team (Jon Secaur and Carol Magyarics) are coming together to get creative about how we might worship together at the church building parking lot through the winter months.  One idea that we are pursuing is using a FM transmitter that when you come to the church, you can sit in your car and hear the service through your radio.  We would have worship leaders, music, prayer, and preaching.  Just another unique opportunity that 2020 is presenting to us as we try to keep everyone safe and come together for worship.  Thanks for the creativity and hard work of all that are trying to make this happen! 

STEWARDSHIP

Continue to keep an eye out for communications from the MCCC Stewardship & Finance team as we begin preparations for ministry in 2021.  Please be thinking and praying about what kind of commitment you would like to make to the church with your time, talent, and treasure.  By making a pledge to the church you help us plan for the coming year and plan the ways your resources can best be used to share Good News in the world.  Thank you all so much for your continued generosity to MCCC and all the ways you give and support the organizations you care about in the world.
